Terms & Conditions
- Play Plus Toy Library is aimed for children and babies age 0-5
years old, therefore the toy we lend out are aimed for this age group. It
is your responsibility to ensure that the toy/equipment you choose to hire
is suitable for the age of the child for whom it is intended.
- Children must be supervised by a responsible parent/carer at all
times whilst visiting the Toy Library Stay and Play sessions.
- Children must be supervised whilst using equipment/toys hired from
the Toy Library.
- Normal hire period of toys and equipment is 28 days; this can be
extended providing another member does not require them. To extend a loan,
please contact us on playplus@smartplaynetwork.org
- Maximum 4 toys can be borrowed at one time. You can reserve 8 toys
at one time, this means you can reserve 4 new toys and return and collect
at same time.
- Collection time is Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00-12:00, term time. If you are attending a stay
and play session your toys will be ready for pick up when you leave.
- Please do not leave any toys or equipment at Inch house out of Play
Plus Toy Library opening hours. Inch House staff will
not be liable for any of the toys should they be damaged if left. You
are responsible for the toys and equipment until one of the Play Plus Toy
Library Staff receives them in person.
- Please be mindful that
the Toy Library is a charity and would not be successful if borrowed toys
were not returned. There could be a child eagerly awaiting the return of
your borrowed toys!
- If a
toy has been reserved and is not collected within a week and we have not
heard from you, we have the right to cancel the reservation and pass onto
the next member on the reservation list.
- All toys borrowed from the Toy Library must be treated with care
and respect, and returned to the Toy Library clean and in the box/bag they
were collected in.
- Toys hired out on your membership are for your use only.
- Please read any safety instructions that accompanies the toy. All
toys and equipment must only be used for the purpose for which they are
designed
- The Toy Library accepts normal wear and tear to toys and there are no fees for broken
and/or lost pieces, but we do need to be notified in order to replace or fix
parts
- Please do not attempt to make repairs to a toy as this may affect
warranties.
- This is an annual agreement. Payment of renewal membership fees
implies acceptance of these terms for an additional 12 months.
- The Toy Library reserves the right to vary the Terms without prior
notice. Members will be notified of any changes.
- Personal Data: Your personal data will not be shared with a third
party outside of Smart Play Network. Once membership has ceased after one
year – Membership forms will be destroyed.
- You must inform the Toy Library immediately if there are any
changes in your membership details, as you are responsible for any toy
hired out on it.
